What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations Oversight: Learn and support all critical aspects of store operations, including sales performance, payroll management, and understanding profit & loss (P&L) statements for effective expense management.
• Customer Engagement: Deliver exceptional customer service by setting a leading example, performing essential water analysis, and assisting customers with basic mechanical repairs related to pool and spa care.
• Sales and Business Growth: Drive sales growth across both residential and commercial customer segments, contributing to the expansion of market reach and achievement of business objectives.
• Team Development: Support the hiring process, provide comprehensive training, and facilitate the ongoing development of store team members to build a skilled, motivated, and cohesive workforce.
• Store Standards: Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment for customers, while assisting with merchandising, inventory control, efficient stock management, and supporting opening and closing procedures, including bank deposits.

• Background: Career level: In-Training Manager. This program is ideal for recent graduates or experienced leaders who are looking to build a long-term career in retail management.
• Experience: Successful completion of all designated training modules, including the General Manager in Training (GMIT) and Talent Platform training. Ability to achieve placement in Leslie’s internal succession program upon completion of training.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members, proficiency with computers, comfort using retail systems, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
