The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Herc Rentals, located in various branch locations across North America. The TL;DR

• Pay: $80000–$100000 yearly
• Mission: Owns the comprehensive management and strategic direction of a branch, overseeing daily operations to ensure positive revenue generation, uphold high customer service standards, foster employee development, and maximize profitability while improving market competitiveness.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategic Revenue Growth: Drive revenue for the branch and district by thinking strategically and critically, aiming to meet or exceed the annual business plan through effective portfolio growth.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, develop, and manage a diverse team effectively and efficiently, taking initiative and working autonomously, while supporting all team members through training and continuous learning.
• Financial & Operational Management: Manage the branch’s profit and loss statement, conduct operational reviews, and generate, process, analyze, and review daily business reports to maximize revenue and profit.
• Fleet & Inventory Oversight: Manage the fleet inventory mix to maximize revenue and profit, conduct regular branch audits, and perform detailed inventory reviews.
• Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Be a safety leader by setting high safety standards, implementing safety trainings, maintaining a branch safety plan, and ensuring full federal compliance with OSHA regulations and DOT standards.
• Customer Relations Expertise: Effectively grow and maintain a diverse portfolio of customers, answer and resolve customer questions, and maintain a strong customer orientation to ensure high service standards.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Managerial career level, requiring a High School diploma or GED. This role demands deep expertise in the equipment rental industry to support and drive continuous learning at the branch.
• Experience: 5-7 years of relatable leadership and management experience, including a proven track record with high-performance teams, employee training and development, and demonstrated problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Skills: Strong ability to drive revenue growth, excellent interpersonal and communication skills (including reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English), computer competence with basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to safely drive and operate multiple types of vehicles and equipment.
• Bonus: A College Degree is preferred, along with flexibility and ability to travel, and a commitment to company values.
