MIS Intern – PRN | Arkansas Heart Hospital

What You’ll Actually Do
• Cultivate Relationships: Build strong relationships with Physicians and Hospital staff while providing expert technical consulting and support to ensure a seamless and positive patient experience.
• Incident Response: Provide timely responses to all technical incidents, outages, and performance alerts, accurately categorizing issues for proper escalation to specialized technical teams.
• System Monitoring: Continuously monitor a diverse array of information and network systems, including telecommunications circuits, LAN/WAN systems, routers, switches, firewalls, VoIP systems, servers, storage, backup, operating systems, and core applications.
• Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors to efficiently resolve complex technical problems and perform specific MIS tasks based on the evolving needs and requests of system users.
• Remote Support: Travel as required to provide essential on-site technical support for remote clinics located throughout the state, maintaining consistent service delivery across all locations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and demonstrate foundational knowledge in general technology troubleshooting.
• Experience: Proven ability in general technology troubleshooting specifically with PC’s, Mac devices, and various mobile devices. No specific years of experience are mentioned.
