What You’ll Actually Do
• Campaign Liaison: Liaise with Account Management, Sales, and other internal and external contacts throughout a campaign’s lifetime.
• Inventory Management: Reserve inventory and alert key stakeholders of potential mishaps, such as double-bookings or at-risk delivery.
• Campaign Launch & Updates: Launch and update campaigns according to contracted flight dates, both ad hoc and scheduled.
• Reporting & Quality Control: Run and manage daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting, performing quality control checks of client assets to ensure compliance with media specs and guidelines.
• Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting: Collaborate with Account Management to adjust campaigns for optimal performance and troubleshoot campaign issues from discovery to resolution, notifying key stakeholders.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career. A vested interest in growth and the ever-evolving Ad Ops industry, driven by attention to detail, accuracy, and investigative curiosity.
• Experience: 1-2 years experience in a trafficker, Ad Ops, or digital media role.
• Skills: Great attention to detail and a propensity for data mining; working to intermediate expertise in Google Ad Manager, Google Ad Manager 360 or another ad server; familiarity with ad serving concepts (e.g., network, inventory, taxonomy, competitive separation, priorities, optimization, dayparting, macros, viewability) and media math (e.g., CPM, eCPM, CTR, VCR, RPM, in-view rate); knowledge of Google Sheets, Numbers, and/or Excel and formulas/functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, charts); great oratory and written communication skills.
• Bonus: Knowledge of session tools (e.g., Chrome Developer Tools, Charles, Firebug, force console); familiarity with programmatic and header bidding; familiarity with IAB/MRC guidelines; familiarity with HTML and JavaScript.
