Assistant Property Readiness Coordinator | Real Property Management Pros

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Real Property Management Pros, located in Northern Virginia with a hybrid work structure. Real Property Management Pros is a locally owned franchise of North America’s largest residential property management organization, dedicated to elevating the single-family rental experience. This entry-level role is vital for delivering a first-class experience to every resident, ensuring smooth transitions, and maintaining top-tier property conditions, directly impacting resident satisfaction and the company’s Net Promoter Score.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Oversee Move-Ins & Move-Outs: Schedule and conduct property evaluations to ensure residents move in seamlessly, making a positive first impression. Document property conditions thoroughly at both move-in and move-out, addressing resident questions and coordinating any necessary follow-up actions to ensure a smooth transition.
• Coordinate Make-Ready Projects: Organize all necessary repairs, cleanings, and other services required between resident turnovers. This involves communicating effectively with external vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure homes are fully prepped and ready for new residents efficiently.
• Champion Resident Satisfaction: Serve as a primary point of contact for residents during their transition periods, promptly answering questions and resolving concerns. Actively encourage residents to provide feedback and positive reviews, contributing to the company’s mission to enhance its NPS score.
• Collaborate with the Leasing Team: Work closely with Leasing Agents to share timely updates on property conditions and track project progress. Provide concierge-level service by educating Landlord/Investor clients on property statuses and recommending potential upgrades to maintain property value and appeal.
• Maintain Detailed Records: Accurately document all resident interactions, property details, and project progress within the company’s software systems. Keep both digital and physical records meticulously updated to ensure compliance, accountability, and seamless information flow across the team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a college degree preferred, especially for recent graduates. Candidates should have a strong interest in real estate and single-family property management, even if exploring a new career path or having a background in related fields such as mortgage processing or project coordination.
• Experience: Experience in a customer-facing or project coordination role is beneficial. The ability to manage multiple tasks, re-prioritize effectively, and keep projects running on time is essential.
• Skills: Genuinely customer-focused, with an understanding of creating positive experiences for residents. Possesses keen attention to detail for property condition evaluations and make-ready processes. Highly organized and flexible, able to juggle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities. A clear and effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, with residents, investors, contractors, and team members. Tech-savvy and comfortable using software tools, apps, and online platforms.
• Bonus: Lives in Northern Virginia (ideally within the territory where the portfolio is located) to handle field work and property visits. Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for on-site visits.
