Mergers & Acquisitions Intern | Ayming

This role is crucial for supporting the company’s growth strategy by researching and evaluating acquisition targets, partnership opportunities, and new markets.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Research: Research potential acquisition targets across the U.S. to expand the company’s footprint.
• Analyze: Analyze competitors, market trends, and industry developments to inform strategic decisions.
• Evaluate: Evaluate companies based on their service offerings, geographic reach, and strategic fit with Ayming’s objectives.
• Develop: Build and maintain acquisition prospect lists and comprehensive company profiles for review.
• Prepare: Prepare executive summaries, scorecards, and recommendations for leadership regarding potential M&A opportunities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience: Previous internship, project, or coursework in finance, consulting, market research, or corporate strategy. Familiarity with financial analysis, valuation, or M&A concepts is also required.
• Skills: Strong research and analytical skills, advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency, excellent written and verbal communication, strong attention to detail, and strategic and critical thinking abilities.
• Bonus: Experience using research tools such as LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Crunchbase, or similar platforms. A demonstrated interest in M&A, business strategy, and corporate growth is highly valued.
