The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: Variable schedule which could include early mornings, mornings, afternoons, evenings, late nights or overnights as well as weekends and holidays
• Location: In-person, San Francisco, CA
• Pay: $19–$26 hourly
• Mission: Absorb knowledge and support store operations to prepare for leading a retail store, ensuring seamless customer experience and sales performance.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Learning: Absorb all information from experienced managers regarding the effective running of a top-tier retail operation.
• Leadership Support: Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, training, and developing store staff with a future focus on building your own team.
• Sales Performance: Analyze sales data and support the Store Manager in achieving established sales targets.
• Operational Oversight: Oversee daily store operations, manage inventory levels, and ensure compliance with all company policies.
• Managerial Coverage: Act as the primary point of contact during the Store Manager’s absence, ensuring operations continue smoothly.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager in Training. Core domain knowledge in retail operations and management, with a strong focus on learning and development.
• Experience: Demonstrated readiness for leadership and an eagerness to learn all aspects of retail management.
• Skills: You possess a strong desire to learn, natural leadership qualities, excellent customer service abilities, acute attention to detail, and are a collaborative team player with effective communication skills.
