Budget provides essential car and truck rental services to individuals and businesses. This role is crucial for developing future leaders who will manage standalone rental stores or oversee airport operations, giving them comprehensive exposure to all business functions.

• Mission: To prepare individuals for leadership roles managing standalone rental stores or overseeing airport rentals and operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead Operations: Collaborate with managers to keep rental agencies running smoothly, managing big-picture operations and overseeing operational departments.
• Inventory & Fleet: Monitor and manage the flow of fleet and inventory to match customer demands and ensure reservations are on track.
• Rental System: Master the counter system to open, close, and adjust rental contracts, print manifests, and handle other related tasks.
• Sales & Service: Boost sales by promoting add-ons like insurance and GPS, while also resolving customer issues, explaining charges, and providing directions.
• Team & Training: Get involved in coaching, mentoring, and assisting with training team members to build skills and achieve goals together.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level career status, demonstrating a positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Experience: A clean driving record for the past 3 years (with some exceptions). Proven customer service skills from retail, campus jobs, or volunteer work. Demonstrated ability to close deals or persuade others in previous roles.
• Skills: Proficiency in customer interaction, effective sales techniques, foundational leadership abilities, and organizational skills for daily tracking and reporting.
• Bonus: Prior professional experience leading a team, club, or project is a distinct advantage.
