Assoc. Field Medical Marketing Director (Mid-Atlantic) | Neurocrine Biosciences
The Tone:
This is a field-based role within Neurocrine Biosciences, covering the Mid-Atlantic region. The company is dedicated to discovering and developing life-changing treatments for neurological, psychiatric, endocrine, and immunological disorders. This position is critical for gathering valuable insights from Key Opinion Leaders and customers in the field, which directly shapes and informs the company’s marketing strategies to relieve suffering for people with great needs.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Brand Strategy: Partner in brand planning and transform field insights and real-world feedback into data-driven program enhancements.
• Marketing Initiatives: Manage assigned marketing campaigns and programs, overseeing projects from concept to execution and acting as a liaison to sales teams.
• KOL Engagement: Cultivate relationships with an assigned list of healthcare professionals and emerging Key Opinion Leaders, gathering and reporting detailed insights to leadership.
• Medical Marketing: Own and lead the development of all content for peer-to-peer programs, product theaters, and speaker training, providing overall support for the Speaker Bureau.
• Field Alignment: Partner with regional field teams (Sales, Medical, Market Access) to ensure consistent implementation of brand strategy and evolve playbooks based on real-world experience.
The Must-Haves
• Background: BS/BA degree in marketing, business, health policy, scientific or related field, or a Master’s degree in a similar field.
• Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical/biotech marketing and sales with a BS/BA, or 8+ years with a Master’s degree.
• Skills: Strong communication and diplomatic skills with clinical acumen, understanding of pharmaceutical legal, compliance, and regulatory environments, and demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Bonus: Therapeutic area experience.
