Store Manager in Training | GNC

This is a full-time, in-person, supervisory role at GNC, available across various store locations. This role is crucial as it prepares individuals to manage their own GNC store, drive results, and lead a team, directly impacting the company’s mission to help others live well.

• Team: Reports to a Store Manager or District Manager
• Mission: To develop individuals into successful Store Managers who lead store operations, achieve sales goals, and cultivate strong customer relationships.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Training Engagement: Actively participate in leader-led training initiatives, projects, and goals to prepare for a Store Manager promotion.
• Customer Experience Management: Support and enhance the overall shopping experience, including visual merchandising, sales initiatives, and fostering customer relationships that drive sales and repeat business.
• Sales Performance: Achieve and surpass personal sales and productivity targets while coaching sales associates to reach their full sales potential.
• Team Development: Build and lead strong store teams by demonstrating effective leadership, providing ongoing performance feedback, and participating in recruiting and performance management.
• Retail Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the retail facility, including opening, closing, cash handling, inventory counts, and deposits, in accordance with GNC procedures.

• Experience: Demonstrated aptitude for leadership and management, including the ability to provide performance feedback, recruit, hire, and manage team performance.
• Skills: Proven ability to achieve sales goals, operational proficiency in retail facilities (cash handling, inventory), and strong customer relationship-building skills.
