The Operations Manager contributes significantly to the efficient production and installation of quality storage buildings.

• Team: Manages Operations employees, reports to the District Manager (DM).
• Mission: Oversees all factory operations, including production, installation, safety, inventory, and subcontractor relationships, to ensure profitable and high-quality product delivery and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Production & Installation Leadership: Manage all production and installation logistics, daily planning, and financial criteria, operating the factory to produce expected profitability and overseeing subcontractor recruitment and quality inspections.
• Team & Performance Management: Lead the recruiting, hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation of operations teams, ensuring appropriate staffing levels, conducting performance evaluations, and managing disciplinary actions.
• Quality Assurance & Customer Service: Ensure building quality, communication, and customer experience align with company expectations, performing duties like resolving warranty issues through scheduled repairs.
• Safety Program Implementation: Conduct daily safety walk-throughs, implement company safety programs, manage DOT regulations, lead safety meetings and training, and investigate work-related injuries.
• Inventory & Supply Chain Management: Conduct monthly cycle counts and physical inventory, manage material ordering to meet production schedules while minimizing costs, and negotiate with local suppliers for optimal pricing.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager-level professional with core domain knowledge in factory operations, production, and installation management.
• Experience: Proven experience in leadership, including managing employees and resolving employee relations issues.
• Skills: Effective communication at all levels, strong problem-solving using sound logic and good judgment, ability to understand and execute instructions (oral, written, diagram), proficiency in preparing professional reports and correspondence, and mathematical, accounting, and financial tool application for business.
• Bonus: Preferred experience in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment; knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and employment law; proven experience in successful business-to-consumer sales of large ticket products.
