Operations Manager & Junior Agent, The Carapella Herschenfeld Team (Hybrid) | The Agency RE

The Tone:
This is a hybrid role at The Agency RE, located in New York, NY. The Agency is a global, boutique real estate brokerage representing a portfolio of properties across the world’s prime markets and celebrated destinations, recognized as one of the fastest-growing luxury brands. This role is crucial for running the operational systems that keep a luxury sales team on track, while simultaneously providing hands-on experience as an agent. It is designed for someone early in their real estate career who wants to learn the business from the inside out, working directly alongside two top-producing agents.

• Mission: This person owns the systems for managing listings, leads the sales pipeline, serves as a liaison with the marketing team, and supports client-facing agent work.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Sales Operations: Lead and oversee sales operations and pipeline management, including maintaining transaction records and tracking commissions, splits, and reimbursements.
• Marketing & Content: Develop and oversee the team’s marketing strategy, planning and posting social media content, drafting monthly newsletters, and designing collateral in Canva.
• Listings & Transaction Support: Project-manage listings from pitch to close, coordinating vendors for photography and floorplans, activating listings across platforms, and supporting due diligence packages.
• Showings & Client-Facing Work: Cover showings and open houses, manage rental client searches, field buyer/renter leads, and support testimonial outreach and client touchpoints.
• General Operations & Admin: Manage vendor relationships, handle team invoicing and expense submissions, and support broader initiatives like CRM evaluation and client gifting.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career level, highly organized, comfortable owning multiple workstreams and deadlines, with strong written and verbal communication skills for copywriting.
• Experience: Willingness to obtain an active NY Real Estate Salesperson license within a few months of starting.
• Skills: Attention to detail, comfortable learning new software quickly, proactive and intuitive to identify and address needs.
• Bonus: Prior experience in real estate, hospitality, sales support, or an operations-heavy role; familiarity with listing platforms (StreetEasy, RealPlus/RLS, Nooklyn) or transaction management tools (SkySlope); familiarity with AI tools; social media content creation or basic design experience (Canva); initiative and a team spirit.
