People Analytics & Operations (Rotational Program) | Cléopâtre

The Tone:
This is a rotational program at Cléopâtre, located in San Francisco, CA. Cléopâtre builds Notion, a collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together, aiming to make work faster, clearer, and less fragmented. This role is crucial for developing the next generation of the People team, building the insights engine that powers every people decision across the company. You will engage in real work with significant ownership, shaping how Cléopâtre operates in the AI era.

• Mission: To build the insights engine, run HR operations, and prototype AI-assisted workflows to drive people decisions and develop future People team leaders.
• Tech Stack: Workday, Snowflake, SQL, Notion, AI tools, Python (exposure)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Build Insights Engine: Write SQL to power critical headcount, attrition, and hiring funnel dashboards, transforming raw data into analyses that inform strategic decisions.
• Run HR Operations Engine: Execute employee lifecycle transactions in Workday, coordinate onboarding/offboarding, resolve employee requests, and maintain clean people data for compliance.
• Tell the Story in Data: Translate complex people questions into clear, data-driven narratives, from initial data pull to presenting actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Prototype AI-Assisted Workflows: Identify and automate manual HR tasks using AI, such as onboarding task routing, ticket triage, and compliance reminders, shipping solutions that last.
• Build and Own Notion Workspace: Serve as the People team’s Notion expert, creating and optimizing pages, databases, dashboards, and views that form the team’s operational systems.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Studied business, economics, statistics, or mathematics, demonstrating quantitative sharpness and an ability to connect numbers to insights and decisions.
• Experience: Not based on years, but on a demonstrated track record of fixing broken processes, using AI to accomplish complex tasks, and a self-driven interest in labor economics.
• Skills: SQL as a native language for data manipulation; quantitatively sharp thinking; high agency and urgency to independently solve problems; AI-fluent, using AI daily as a multiplier; Notion power user, building advanced operating systems within the platform.
• Bonus: Some exposure to Python, familiarity with Workday, Snowflake, or similar HRIS/data warehouse tools, and prior experience in business operations, finance, or sales operations contexts.
