What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations Management: Oversee all daily front office operations, ensuring an efficient workflow and a consistently welcoming experience for patients and visitors alike.
• Patient Experience: Manage the complete patient journey from scheduling appointments to optimizing patient flow within the office.
• Administrative Coordination: Coordinate essential administrative tasks, including meticulous record maintenance, efficient payment processing, handling all office correspondence, and organizing office supplies and equipment.
• Clinical Team Support: Provide comprehensive support to the clinical team by optimizing operational workflows, monitoring key office performance metrics, and diligently enforcing established policies and procedures.
• Staff Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor front office staff, effectively address all patient inquiries and concerns, and collaborate closely with leadership to support practice growth and foster community engagement.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Proven managerial experience in overseeing daily front office operations and coordinating comprehensive administrative tasks within an office environment.
• Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in managing appointment scheduling, patient records, providing billing support, and optimizing daily office workflows.
• Skills: Strong and clear verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, teammates, and providers; excellent customer service abilities focused on creating positive patient experiences and resolving concerns professionally; robust organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective time management for prioritizing tasks.
• Bonus: Prior experience specifically within a dental or healthcare office setting, familiarity with insurance verification and basic billing processes, and an associate’s degree or relevant postsecondary education in business or healthcare administration.
