• Tech Stack: Store systems, POS and Parts lookup systems, testing and diagnostic equipment.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Goals: Achieve overall store sales goals and service objectives for the location.
• Customer Relationships: Manage and grow Professional Customer relationships and sales, ensuring the team executes customer action plans.
• Team Leadership: Oversee selection, hiring, development, performance management, coaching, scheduling, and engagement of all store Team Members.
• Operational Standards: Ensure the execution of all inventory and operational standards within the store.
• Customer Coaching: Coach all Team Members to deliver exceptional customer experiences for both DIY and Professional Customers.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager level, requiring a high school diploma or general education degree (GED). Possess working knowledge of automotive systems and a proven understanding of store systems, automotive systems, and parts. Demonstrated financial and business acumen is essential.
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience managing a team of 10-20 Team Members in a fast-paced retail environment. Successful experience managing profitability.
• Skills: Speak and write English effectively, build strong relationships, use Microsoft Word and Excel, calculate figures and amounts (discounts, percentages, gross profit), review and analyze business reports such as profit and loss statements, and hold others accountable with inspiring feedback. Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree in business or a related area, ASE certification, and proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
