The TL;DR

• Type: Full Time – Year Round
• Location: In-person, South Bend, IN
• Pay: $56160–$62400 yearly
• Mission: This person supervises maintenance operations, completes hands-on tasks, and ensures the upkeep of apartments and the property.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Supervision: Lead and manage maintenance operations, including administrative aspects.
• Maintenance: Complete hands-on work orders and address resident maintenance requests.
• Apartment Turns: Assist with preparing vacant apartments for new residents.
• On-Call Duties: Participate in the scheduled on-call rotation for emergency maintenance requests.
• Team Support: Provide hands-on assistance to the team as needed for various maintenance tasks.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager. Core domain knowledge in apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, painting, or general construction.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, painting, general construction or equivalent. Previous management/leadership experience in a maintenance setting is required.
• Skills: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and demonstrated ability to perform hands-on maintenance duties.
