Apartment Maintenance Technician II | Windsor Communities

What You’ll Actually Do
• Repair and Prevent: Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and apply preventative measures for apartment homes, common areas, mechanical rooms, plumbing, electrical, and appliance areas.
• Manage Work Orders: Use smart devices and property management software to maintain accurate records and ensure work order completion.
• Respond to Emergencies: Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours and weekend emergency response.
• Provide Service: Support the company’s values and cultures by providing exceptional service to teammates and residents.
• Ensure Safety: Maintain familiarity with building safety systems, including fire systems, sprinklers, and alarms.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum of 2 years’ experience with multifamily residential, commercial, or hotel maintenance, demonstrating intermediate competency with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and carpentry.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in multifamily residential, commercial, or hotel maintenance environments, including work order management.
• Skills: Intermediate competency with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and carpentry, along with advanced knowledge of hand tools and basic power tools.
• Bonus: EPA Type II certification preferred or the ability to become certified within 90 days of the start date; CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification preferred or the ability to become certified within 90 days of the start date.
