Our client is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage and ensure the accuracy of their multi-state payroll operations. This role is crucial for maintaining compliance, supporting the company’s growth through process development, and guaranteeing timely and correct compensation for all employees. • Mission: Ensure accurate and compliant multi-state payroll processing for approximately 500 employees, utilizing WorkDay.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting: Create wage and management reports, including workers compensation.
• Deductions: Assure proper payroll deductions and garnishments for employee contributions.
• Processing: Ensure accurate multi-state payroll processing, reconciliation, and recordkeeping utilizing WorkDay.
• Compliance: Maintain overall responsibility for system management and compliance within payroll operations.
• Projects: Help with payroll related projects, including the continuous development of scalable processes supporting company growth.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of Payroll Management Experience, including Payroll Processing.
• Experience: Proven WorkDay experience, capable of processing a weekly payroll cycle for approximately 500 hourly and salaried employees.
• Skills: Multi-state payroll processing, reconciliation, recordkeeping, timely research of discrepancies, and report generation.
