Sr Accountant – Financial Reporting | Brink’s Inc
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Brink’s Inc., a global leader known for secure logistics and cash management, serving a diverse base of financial institutions, retailers, and governmental agencies. This Senior Accountant position plays a pivotal role in upholding the integrity and compliance of the company’s financial reporting and external disclosures. The incumbent will be instrumental in managing complex accounting processes and ensuring accurate, timely communication to investors and regulatory bodies across a global organization.

• Mission: To manage and ensure the accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of financial reporting processes, including SEC filings and external communications, for a global company.
• Tech Stack: Workiva, FCC (Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close)
What You’ll Actually Do
• SEC Reporting Management: Manage the comprehensive financial reporting process within Workiva, which includes coordinating quarterly 10-Q and 10-K workpaper assignments, preparing selected supporting schedules, partnering with Corporate staff on review of responsibilities, and coordinating responses to external auditor requests to ensure all financial statements, disclosures, and MD&A sections are fully supported.
• External Communications Support: Support the preparation of selected sections for the quarterly earnings release and investor presentation materials, actively compiling tie-outs to supporting schedules in close collaboration with the Financial Planning and Analysis team.
• Retirement Plan Accounting: Calculate, communicate, and monitor the accounting for pension and other retirement plans measured by external actuaries, participating in coordination meetings to discuss developments, update annual assumptions, and document those assumptions in the accounting assumptions memorandum.
• Intercompany Reconciliation & Analysis: Prepare monthly analysis and reconciliation of uneliminated intercompany accounts receivable and payable balances by generating consolidation system reports and proactively following up with subsidiary finance personnel regarding material uneliminated amounts.
• Workiva Administration: Serve as the dedicated Workiva Administrator for the Brink’s SEC Reporting workspace, with responsibilities including new user setup and provisioning, quarterly user access reviews, user support and issue resolution, and ongoing evaluation and implementation of new Workiva functionality, particularly automation and AI-enabled features.
The Must-Haves
• Background: CPA certification with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting and a strong understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience with Big-4 Accounting Firms.
• Skills: Good organization, analytical, and communication skills.
• Bonus: An understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), experience with an international company and foreign exchange, and experience with consolidation accounting, preferably FCC (Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close) software.
