• Mission: To support day-to-day Human Resources operations and deliver an exceptional employee experience throughout the entire employment lifecycle for a luxury hotel.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Employee Support: Serve as the primary People Operations contact for employees and managers regarding company policies, benefits, leaves of absence, and general HR matters.
• Recruitment Management: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned positions, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer administration.
• HR System Administration: Process new hire transactions in Workday, including background checks, Form I-9 completion, and employee data changes.
• Benefits and Leave Coordination: Administer union benefit enrollments, respond to employee benefit inquiries, and coordinate leave and disability claims with third-party administrators.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with company policies, the Collective Bargaining Agreement, and applicable employment laws, while maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager-level professional with core domain knowledge in human resources operations, employee relations, leave administration, and HR best practices.
• Experience: Required experience with Workday or another HRIS.
• Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality. Working knowledge of employment laws.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field. Experience supporting a unionized workforce.
