Business Director | Sagora Senior Living
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Sagora Senior Living, located in Edmond, OK at The Veraden community. • Team: Works in conjunction with the Executive Director and corporate accounting team, and supervises front desk staff.
• Mission: Owns all accounting, human resources, and business office activity for the community to ensure smooth operations and resident satisfaction.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Management: Oversee all accounts payable and accounts receivable for the community, ensuring accurate resident statements and account maintenance.
• Payroll & HR Support: Administer semi-monthly payroll, manage PTO records for all associates, and maintain associate files, including assisting with new hire paperwork.
• Budget & Operations: Operate the department within budgetary guidelines and perform administrative functions to support the Executive Director and Home Office staff.
• Resident & Team Interaction: Address resident concerns regarding bills and accounts, and supervise the front desk staff.
• Community Engagement: Serve as Manager on Duty as assigned and collaborate with management and department heads to market and manage the community.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Director level role. A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred, with a strong foundation in bookkeeping or office manager/coordinator responsibilities.
• Experience: Required strong AP/AR and payroll experience, along with 1-2 years of experience in a bookkeeping or office manager/coordinator position.
• Skills: Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups. Must possess or be willing to acquire a valid driver’s license for company travel as needed.
• Bonus: Experience in HR duties and associate benefits is preferred, and property management software experience is a plus.
