4th Shift Operations Supervisor | Link Snacks
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Link Snacks, located in-person, responsible for overseeing crucial production operations. The company builds a global house of real meat protein snacks, including brands like Jack Link’s, Lorissa’s Organic Snacks, and BiFi. This role is vital for ensuring the consistent production of high-quality products, maintaining safety standards, and driving productivity within the manufacturing facility, directly contributing to the company’s mission to dominate the meat snack industry.
The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: Friday-Sunday 6:00 pm – 6:00 am
• Location: In-person
• Pay: $60000–$70000 yearly
• Team: Supervises a team of Production Workers and reports to the Assistant Plant Manager.
• Mission: Ensure high-quality product manufacturing, team safety, and operational efficiency through effective supervision and leadership.
• Tech Stack: Internet navigation, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, timekeeping tool, HACCP, SSOP, SQF, FIFO, LOTO, PPE.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Personnel: Direct a team of Production Workers, managing staffing, training, attendance, performance, and accurate timekeeping.
• Safety: Enforce all safety rules and company policies, conduct accident investigations, and ensure compliance with OSHA and food safety standards like LOTO and PPE.
• Quality: Maintain product quality by enforcing organizational standards, improving manufacturing processes, and supporting the implementation of SQF and FIFO.
• Productivity: Monitor and optimize production output, track inefficiencies, manage inventory and costs, and complete accurate production documentation.
• Leadership: Provide clear direction, foster positive work relationships, and cultivate a culture of openness and accountability within the department.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager. High School Diploma or GED (or two years of relevant experience) with core knowledge of manufacturing and production/logistics processes.
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years in manufacturing and 1+ years of Lead experience.
• Skills: Ability to supervise and direct teams, professional communication (verbal and written), organizational and prioritization skills, accuracy and attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bonus: 2+ years of Supervisory experience and leadership in the food manufacturing industry.
