The Tone:

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting all store operations and setting a high standard for policy adherence and team conduct.

• Team: Reports to the General Manager.
• Mission: Assist the General Manager in overseeing all store operations, including cost and inventory controls, customer relations, and ensuring policy adherence for efficient daily functioning and team development.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Store Operations: Assist with all aspects of store operations during shifts, including managing cost controls, inventory control, and cash control.
• Team Leadership: Set an example by following all company policies and procedures 100% of the time, and expect the same from the crew.
• Administrative Support: Aid the General Manager with staffing, scheduling, general administrative duties, and maintenance reporting.
• Product Preparation: Prepare pizza products to Domino’s quality standards and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage.
• Customer Service: Receive and process telephone orders, interact with customers, and assist with deliveries or makeline operations as needed.
• Facility Upkeep: Clean equipment and the facility on a daily basis to maintain operational standards.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Managerial role with responsibility for assisting in store operations. Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience: No specific years required. Must pass a background check and have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record (subject to Motor Vehicle Report review).
• Skills: Good navigational skills with the ability to read and follow maps to locate addresses within the designated delivery area. Capable of following directives, performing repetitive tasks, working effectively both independently and with a team, and performing well under stress. Strong ability to meet strict quality control standards, provide excellent customer service, analyze and compile data, and make good judgments and decisions. Excellent communication skills, encompassing the ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions, and to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers professionally.
