• Mission: Deliver tailored derivatives solutions to diverse EMEA clients, with a particular focus on the Middle East and Africa, while enhancing MUFG’s franchise.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage Client Relationships: Develop and expand relationships with key MUFG Bank clients, including corporates, financial sponsors, and project finance companies, to enhance the international business and franchise.
• Execute Transactions: Accurately price, model, execute, and book all relevant transactions and risk positions with meticulous attention to detail.
• Create Client Materials: Lead the production of tailor-made client presentations and pitch-books, incorporating news updates, economic data, and macro themes relevant to customer needs.
• Oversee Client Workflows: Manage all internal workstreams for clients, including KYC procedures, legal documentation preparation, lifecycle management of trades, and resolution of issues.
• Ensure Compliance: Operate on an entity-neutral basis to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements applicable to both MUFG Bank and MUFG Securities EMEA plc.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree is mandatory; Director level professional with solid experience in derivatives sales or structuring.
• Experience: Proven expertise in interest rate derivatives products, including swaps, structured products, and FX instruments is required. Existing client relationships within the MENA region are highly valued.
• Skills: Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel for modelling, PowerPoint for presentations), demonstrated ability in preparing detailed client presentations and term sheets, fluency in English, and outstanding communication skills.
• Bonus: Advanced qualifications such as MBA, MSc, or CFA are considered advantageous, or equivalent work experience.
