What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Provide technical support, offering recommendations on product selection, installation procedures, calculations, and customized design drawings to solve on-site problems.
• Collaborate: Work with product competency centers to understand product lines, develop operational plans, and become an expert in niche products within the assigned market.
• Satisfy: Partner closely with Inside Sales Representatives and Area Sales Managers to ensure customer satisfaction and effectively resolve problems.
• Innovate: Elicit customer feedback to help guide the future direction of products and services.
• Analyze: Perform field failure analysis and evaluate solutions for production product issues, applying technical and product expertise.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Hold a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or possess five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a technical or product support position is required, along with 1-2 years of experience interpreting product design, layouts, and basic drafting room practices.
• Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of AutoCAD or similar systems, basic use of Windows Office programs, and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, communication proficiency, and the ability to read blueprints and perform calculations such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
