What You’ll Actually Do
• Apartment Turns: Perform complete apartment turnover work in vacant units, including painting, cleaning, and handling maintenance punch items.
• Work Order Completion: Diagnose and repair issues across electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC systems, completing work orders promptly and correctly, typically within 24 hours.
• Preventative Maintenance: Execute preventative maintenance on building systems, including plumbing, heating, cooling, and mechanical equipment, to ensure optimal functionality.
• Property Upkeep: Maintain daily curb appeal through trash removal, sprinkler inspections, weed control, and keeping dumpster areas and common spaces clean and presentable.
• Emergency Response: Respond to emergency maintenance calls on a rotating basis, covering evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High school diploma or equivalent required, demonstrating knowledge of general carpentry, repair, and building systems.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in multi-family maintenance, construction, or a specialized trade such as plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or carpentry.
• Skills: Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, a positive and organized attitude, strong customer service orientation, solid interpersonal skills, and effective verbal and written communication.
• Bonus: Trade schooling is a plus.
