This role is critical as it establishes the foremost authority in Pre-Sales – Services Engagement solutions, defines strategic vision for programs, and advises executive leadership. It drives thought leadership, impacts new products and services, and helps scale solutions as a bridge to CDW’s R&D Team.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, leading multi-practice architectural engagements across complex customer environments.
• Strategy: Operate across multiple domains—cloud, infrastructure, security, applications, and data—to architect digital transformation roadmaps and provide high-impact consulting.
• Solution Design: Design comprehensive multi-practice solutions spanning CDW’s portfolio, creating high-level designs and future-state architectures that scale.
• Alignment: Own stakeholder alignment across sales, operations, and delivery teams for multi-practice opportunities, ensuring consistency and coordinated execution.
• Development: Build client roadmaps, business cases, and proposals demonstrating measurable ROI, accelerating the pipeline for multi-practice opportunities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience. This is a senior-level position focused on enterprise strategy and technology architecture.
• Experience: 7+ years of experience in IT architecture and engineering, spanning at least 2 technology practice areas; 3+ years of experience designing multi-practice solutions for complex customer environments. Must have background in healthcare or demonstrated experience selling into hospital IT systems.
• Skills: Strong understanding of CDW’s portfolio (Cloud, applications, data, security, modern infrastructure, DevOps, SaaS technologies, and AI); Proven ability to influence business and IT stakeholders at the executive level; Demonstrated success building and delivering enterprise technology roadmaps and digital transformation strategies.
• Bonus: Certifications across multiple disciplines (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert); Background in vertical-specific architecture (e.g., financial services, manufacturing); Strategic mindset; Executive presence; Cross-domain expertise; Innovation and agility; Collaborative leadership; Outcome-driven.
