You will lead the revenue recognition process and build scalable financial operations within a growing technology environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Revenue Leadership: Lead the end-to-end revenue recognition process in compliance with ASC 606, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Close Management: Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue accounting close activities, including journal entries, accruals, variance analysis, and reconciliations related to AR, revenue, and commissions.
• Process Optimization: Design and implement scalable processes and systems for order-to-cash workflows, ensuring compliance between technical policies and operational processes.
• Contract Interpretation: Partner with the Technical Revenue Team to review and interpret complex customer contracts, determining appropriate revenue treatment and ensuring accurate reflection in financial systems.
• Team Development: Develop, manage, and mentor a team of revenue accountants, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance, CPA License, with a focus on revenue accounting.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in revenue accounting, preferably within a SaaS or technology environment.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work on multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Bonus: Prior experience with Netsuite, Stripe, and Salesforce.
