Assistant General Manager | LTD Hospitality Group
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at LTD Hospitality Group, located across its portfolio of hotel properties. LTD Hospitality Group is a recognized leader in superior hotel development and management, operating top-performing brands under major flags like Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, and InterContinental Hotel Group for over 30 years. This role is critical as the Assistant General Manager supports all operational aspects, directly influencing guest and associate satisfaction, financial performance, and revenue generation, ensuring the continued success and high standards of the hotel properties.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operational Leadership: Support the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, including ensuring high levels of guest and associate satisfaction, optimizing financial performance, and driving sales and revenue generation.
• Team Development & Culture: Create and nurture a hotel environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, and teamwork, inspiring associates to cultivate an exceptional guest experience and providing job training to increase knowledge and skill levels.
• Human Resources Management: Handle various personnel actions including interviewing, screening, hiring applicants due to staffing needs, processing new hire paperwork, recommending promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures, and inputting weekly payroll into the company timekeeping system.
• Financial & Budgetary Oversight: Assist the General Manager in developing hotel budgets and capital expenditure plans, then utilize these budgets to teach Department Managers and Team Supervisors how to understand financial objectives while balancing costs with guest satisfaction and quality.
• Compliance & Safety Assurance: Ensure that all brand standards are met and maintained across each department, analyze and resolve work barriers, interpret company policies, provide a safe work environment by ensuring compliance with safety programs and job safety analysis, and have sound knowledge of all emergency procedures.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This is a manager-level position requiring previous experience in a supervisory capacity within a hotel environment. Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of hotel operations, guest service, and financial management.
• Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory role within a hotel setting is required. This includes practical experience in managing teams, handling guest relations, and contributing to operational efficiency.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to a diverse audience including guests, associates, management, and vendors. Must be computer literate with a solid command of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and hotel brand software systems. Requires knowledge of emergency procedures and departmental equipment operations. Must be an energetic, self-motivated leader with a strong work ethic, capable of working a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, and being on-call as needed.
• Bonus: An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related major is preferred. A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation are also considered beneficial for this role.
