This is an Accounting Intern position at Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, located in Columbus, OH. What is the question?” This role is critical in supporting the Accounts Payable team by ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions, maintaining organized records, and contributing to efficient payment operations that uphold the company’s financial integrity.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reconcile: Research and resolve discrepancies between vendor records and company accounts to ensure accurate vendor statement reconciliations.
• Process: Assist with the accurate and timely entry of invoices and payments specifically for Toast transactions.
• Review: Post validated invoice batches efficiently and accurately within the company’s ERP system.
• Generate: Create weekly General Ledger reports to provide essential data for financial reporting and account reconciliation.
• Organize: Maintain meticulous electronic and physical records, ensuring audit readiness and compliance with internal control standards.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a closely related financial field, signifying an entry-level career stage.
• Experience: Entry-level practical experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically demonstrating proficiency in Excel or a strong willingness to develop these skills.
• Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and vendors; exceptional organizational skills for managing documents and records; and robust analytical skills for discrepancy resolution and reporting.
