This is a contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role, located in California. This position supports a busy construction environment that aims to keep daily operations, documentation, and communication running smoothly while ensuring a safe workplace. The role is critical for maintaining administrative efficiency and compliance within a large workforce. This individual will play a key part in coordinating processes and fostering a responsive and safe environment for both office and field teams.

• Mission: Ensure smooth daily operations, accurate documentation, responsive communication, and a safe workplace in a busy construction environment.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Office Operations: Direct daily administrative activities to keep office operations efficient and well organized in support of a large construction workforce.
• Injury Management: Coordinate workplace injury reporting by gathering required information, preparing documentation, and monitoring workers’ compensation claim activity through resolution.
• Safety & Compliance: Work closely with supervisors and leadership to address employee safety matters and ensure concerns are communicated and handled promptly.
• Records Management: Maintain employee files and compliance records with accuracy, ensuring required documentation is current and properly organized.
• Communication & Support: Provide bilingual communication support in English and Spanish for field staff, managers, and office personnel, and assist with routine office administration including front-desk coverage and general clerical support as needed.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager level, with core domain knowledge in office management, administrative support, HR coordination, or operations support, specifically within workplace safety and workers’ compensation processes.
• Experience: Hands-on experience with workers’ compensation processes and workplace injury documentation is required.
• Skills: Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required; strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail; ability to manage competing priorities effectively in a high-volume environment.
• Bonus: Previous experience in office management, administrative support, HR coordination, or operations support is preferred; a background in construction or a similar fast-moving industry is strongly preferred; familiarity with safety compliance practices and construction-related workplace standards is preferred.
