The Tone:
This is a full-time, on-site role with Signet Health, located in Fort Kent, Maine. Signet Health specializes in managing and developing behavioral health programs for healthcare facilities across the country. This critical Director position is responsible for leading our outpatient adult and senior adult behavioral health program at Northern Maine Medical Center, ensuring the delivery of compassionate and compliant care to patients in the Fort Kent community. This role plays a significant part in the program’s success, operational integrity, and its positive standing within the broader community.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations Leadership: Oversee the comprehensive day-to-day operations of the outpatient adult and senior adult behavioral health program, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
• Clinical Service Provision: Provide essential group therapy to patients within the behavioral health program, facilitating therapeutic progress and support.
• Staff Supervision and Development: Supervise all program staff, providing guidance, support, and oversight to ensure effective team performance and adherence to best practices.
• Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure full compliance with all pertinent hospital, state, federal, and licensing agency regulatory standards, maintaining high standards of program integrity and patient safety.
• Community Outreach and Partnership: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key community leaders and various service providers, actively promoting and fostering a positive reputation for the behavioral health programs.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Hold current clinical licensure in Maine as either a master’s level Social Worker (LCSW) or a master’s level Professional Counselor (LCPC). This ensures the necessary professional qualification and legal authorization to practice in the state.
• Experience: No specific years of experience are mandated, but candidates are highly desired to have related experience working directly with behavioral health patients, whether in an outpatient or an inpatient setting.
• Skills:
* Behavioral Health Program Administration: Demonstrated ability to manage and oversee the operational aspects of behavioral health services.
* Clinical Group Therapy: Proficiency in delivering and facilitating effective group therapy sessions for adult and senior adult populations.
* Team Leadership and Staff Management: Capability to supervise, mentor, and lead a team of program staff.
* Regulatory and Compliance Acumen: Strong understanding and ability to ensure adherence to relevant hospital, state, federal, and licensing body regulations.
* Community Relationship Building: Skill in developing and maintaining productive relationships with external stakeholders to enhance program visibility and reputation.
