What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations: Oversee daily station store operations in collaboration with the Store Manager.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, interview, hire, supervise, teach, and motivate store employees.
• Service & Standards: Maintain the company’s high standards and ensure fast, friendly service to customers.
• Financial & Merchandising: Manage bookkeeping tasks and execute merchandising plans within the station store.
• Food Program: Implement and maintain the company’s established food program.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Managerial career level with a foundational understanding of retail operations. Candidates should possess a High School Diploma or College Degree(s).
• Experience: Demonstrated retail experience is required, specifically including supervisor or management roles. Proven experience handling food is also essential for executing the company’s food program.
• Skills: Proficiency in cash-handling and bookkeeping practices. Ability to effectively recruit, interview, and hire new staff members. Strong organizational and planning capabilities, alongside competence in delegation and following up on tasks. Effective problem-solving abilities.
