What You’ll Actually Do
• Portfolio Management: Manage complex investment portfolios with discretionary authority, including advising, planning, and executing investment strategies.
• Client Strategy Development: Evaluate client goals and objectives, collaborating with relationship teams to develop and implement tailored investment strategies.
• Portfolio Construction & Oversight: Construct, review, and rebalance portfolios in alignment with client objectives, investment policies, and strategic asset allocation guidance.
• Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, recommending adjustments as needed to meet client objectives and ensure adherence to internal policies.
• Client and Partner Engagement: Participate in client meetings, provide insights, coordinate with external advisors, and communicate timely updates to Relationship Managers.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduate degree in a business-related field, with a focus on managing complex investment portfolios for high-net-worth clients.
• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in the investment management field, with proven success in an open architecture environment and managing a high-net-worth book of business.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal), strong client focus, strong presentation skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a sales and client servicing team.
• Bonus: Progress towards an advanced degree or professional certification.
