The Tone:
This is a full-time role at CFS, located in Orlando, FL. CFS is a growing real estate investment and property management organization specializing in fractional real estate ownership and property enhancement, consistently expanding its portfolio. This Accountant position is critical for managing the financial operations of numerous homeowner associations, ensuring accurate reporting and financial transparency for both the company and its clients. The role offers significant visibility with leadership, direct ownership over key financial processes, and a clear path for long-term career growth within a stable and evolving industry.

• Mission: Manage the financial operations for a portfolio of homeowner associations, ensuring accurate reporting and financial transparency for the organization and its clients.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Management: Manage the comprehensive accounting activities for approximately 35 homeowner associations, guaranteeing accurate and timely financial reporting for each entity.
• Close & Reporting: Execute all month-end close processes, meticulously prepare financial statements, and thoroughly reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Financial Support: Provide essential support for budgeting, external auditing, and detailed financial analysis activities across the entire portfolio of associations.
• Client Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact, communicating directly and effectively with association boards, clients, and internal leadership regarding all financial matters.
• Process Improvement: Maintain strict confidentiality, ensure unwavering financial accuracy, and proactively identify opportunities to improve and streamline existing accounting processes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: The role prefers prior property management, homeowner association (HOA), real estate, or community association accounting experience.
• Skills: Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial reporting skills.
