This is a full-time, on-site role at MountainMovers Transportation & Logistics, located in Flower Mound, TX. MountainMovers Transportation & Logistics is an asset-based company founded in 2005 that has been growing rapidly, known for dependable and consistent transportation services for both domestic and international shipments. This role is crucial for overseeing day-to-day HR operations and collaborating with leadership to develop and implement HR initiatives that support business goals. The Human Resources Manager ensures a positive, inclusive workplace culture and upholds the high standards of responsiveness and attention to detail that define MountainMovers.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Oversee HR Operations: Manage daily HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
• Ensure Compliance: Uphold compliance with employment laws and company policies, while maintaining accurate and confidential HR records.
• Support Business Goals: Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR initiatives that align with business goals, such as retention strategies and training programs.
• Manage HR Systems: Coordinate benefits administration and payroll with relevant teams, utilizing HRIS systems for smooth HR operations.
• Foster Culture & Improvement: Address employee concerns, provide managers with coaching and policy interpretation, and monitor HR metrics to drive continuous improvement and a positive workplace culture.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Previous experience as an HR Manager or in a senior HR generalist role.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience developing effective hiring and retention practices. Experience with HRIS systems, benefits administration, and coordination with payroll. Ideally within logistics, transportation, or a similar industry.
• Skills: Strong skills in recruitment, onboarding, and talent management. Proficiency in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management. Working knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, and policy development. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Bonus: HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.
