• Mission: Oversee and optimize the admissions process for post-acute and long-term care residents, ensuring smooth transitions and appropriate placements while maintaining regulatory compliance.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Oversee Admissions: Manage and coordinate all aspects of the admissions process, including inquiry response, facility tours, pre-admission evaluations, and timely documentation.
• Collaborate Internally: Work closely with clinical, financial, and administrative teams to ensure accurate information, appropriate patient placement, and a smooth transition.
• Cultivate Referrals: Build and maintain relationships with referral sources and community partners.
• Strategic Admissions: Monitor occupancy and census goals, analyze admission trends, and implement strategies to enhance the admissions experience.
• Ensure Compliance & Communication: Provide clear communication to patients, families, and partners, ensuring all activities support regulatory compliance and high-quality care.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Director-level professional with strong Enrollment Management skills, including oversight of admissions workflows, census development, and process optimization.
• Experience: Demonstrated leadership, team supervision, and training capabilities.
• Skills: Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills. Student Recruiting and outreach skills or related experience in healthcare referrals, community networking, and relationship-building. Knowledge of Student Financial Aid or comparable financial counseling skills, with the ability to discuss payment options, insurance, and reimbursement processes. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Bonus: Experience in healthcare admissions, long-term care, or post-acute settings. Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR), admissions software, and standard office applications. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Social Services, or a related field.
