Warehouse Manager | Meyer Distributing

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Meyer Distributing, located in Hugo, MN. Meyer Distributing operates as a comprehensive wholesale distributor for automotive, RV/towing, outdoor living, and marine products, supported by Meyer Logistics’ extensive transportation network across over 85 locations. This role is essential for maintaining efficient, accurate, and organized warehouse operations, directly impacting the company’s ability to service dealers nationwide. The Warehouse Manager is a key leader, overseeing daily activities and a team to ensure smooth product flow from receiving to shipping.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: Full-time (Monday – Saturday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM; end times may vary)
• Location: In-person, Hugo, MN
• Pay: $75000–$90000 yearly
• Team: Manages assigned employees and reports to the National Warehouse Manager.
• Mission: Ensures efficient, accurate, and organized warehouse operations, overseeing product flow, inventory, and team performance.
• Tech Stack: Accellos software, Scanners

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations Management: Supervise employees to ensure productivity in all warehouse functions, from loading and unloading trucks to stocking and staging products for shipping.
• Inventory Control: Utilize scanners and appropriate procedures to stock products accurately in designated locations and pull orders for shipment.
• Equipment Operation: Operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and manlifts, to facilitate product movement and placement within the warehouse.
• Facility Oversight: Maintain a clean, neat, and well-organized warehouse environment, ensuring efficient job execution and securing the building at the close of business.
• Team Leadership: Administer disciplinary actions, provide input on performance evaluations, manage employee timecards, and report absences to management.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Managerial role in a warehouse environment, with a strong understanding of distribution, inventory, and team supervision.
• Experience: Basic computer skills with knowledge of Accellos software, demonstrated ability to operate powered industrial equipment (forklift/manlift), and proven leadership skills.
• Skills: Planning/organizing, quality control with attention to accuracy and thoroughness, adaptability to changing work environments, dependability in attendance and following instructions, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Bonus: Positive attitude and ability to motivate employees, special attention to detail, and ability to identify letters and numbers.
