Audience Engagement Intern | Electric Entertainment
The Tone:
This is an internship at Electric Entertainment, located in Los Angeles, CA with a hybrid work model. The company operates ElectricNOW, a free streaming platform that delivers cult-favorite television series, films, and original content to audiences. This role is crucial for supporting initiatives that drive audience growth, enhance user engagement, and improve the overall customer experience for the ElectricNOW platform.

• Type: Part-Time | 3 Days per Week (Saturdays, Mondays, & Tuesdays) (24 hours/week, 8 hours per day)
• Location: Hybrid, Los Angeles, CA
• Pay: $18.42/hour
• Team: Reports to the Director of Streaming and Content Operations
• Mission: Support initiatives focused on audience growth, user engagement, and customer experience for the ElectricNOW streaming platform.
• Tech Stack: Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Meta, TikTok, Discord, LinkedIn
What You’ll Actually Do
• Audience Insights: Assist in monitoring and categorizing audience feedback from app stores, social media, and customer support channels, then compile and report on user sentiment and recurring issues.
• Audience Engagement: Support the management of content calendars across digital platforms, publish and schedule approved social media content, and respond to audience comments on various platforms.
• Content & Marketing Support: Help with the preparation of newsletters, Substack posts, and push notifications, and assist with App Store Optimization (ASO) efforts like keyword research and store listing updates.
• Analytics & Reporting: Assist in tracking campaign performance using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and other reporting tools, while also monitoring key audience metrics to identify notable trends.
• Quality Assurance: Test new app releases across mobile and connected TV platforms, and accurately document any bugs or usability issues for internal teams.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Current undergraduate or graduate student in Marketing, Communications, Business, Film, Television, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Experience: Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; Highly organized with excellent attention to detail; Comfortable working independently and managing multiple projects; Interest in streaming media, television, entertainment, or digital products.
• Bonus: Basic familiarity with Google Analytics, SEO, or social media analytics is a plus.
