Long Island Strong Schools Alliance (LISSA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fortifying public education across Long Island. Founded in June 2021, LISSA champions policies that enhance learning environments, emphasizing the development of critical thinking skills, robust civic engagement, and a deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. We empower parents, teachers, students, and community members by providing vital resources, organizational support, and comprehensive information to drive positive change within our schools.
