Area Business Director – NYC | Alma Lasers North America

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Alma Lasers North America, based remotely in the NYC territory with significant travel to client sites. Alma Lasers North America sells advanced laser solutions to healthcare providers. This critical role directly drives market share and revenue growth in NYC by achieving a seven-figure quota, while also developing the sales capabilities of other representatives through mentorship and coaching. The success of this position is essential to expanding the company’s presence and ensuring sales targets are met across the region.

• Team: No direct reports, mentors team members; reports to the Regional Sales Director.
• Mission: Achieve a seven-figure sales quota and enhance sales team performance through direct selling and mentorship in the NYC territory.
• Tech Stack: Salesforce, Microsoft Applications (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Sales: Meet or exceed a seven-figure sales quota in the assigned NYC territory.
• Mentorship: Mentor and coach local sales representatives and those across North America to achieve record sales years.
• Lead Generation & Closing: Generate leads through cold calling, perform product demonstrations, and effectively handle customer objections to close emotional sales opportunities.
• Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with key healthcare providers, including dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and private practice physicians, and represent Alma Lasers at industry events.
• Reporting: Provide timely reports on lead status and sales opportunities in the pipeline using the CRM database (Salesforce) to the Regional Sales Director on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Director-level responsibilities. High School diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in sales, preferably in Medical or Capital Sales.
• Experience: 2 years of sales experience, with a proven record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
• Skills: Microsoft Applications (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), excellent organizational skills, superior written and verbal communication, and the ability to multitask.
• Bonus: Medical devices, capital equipment, surgical devices, or laser sales experience; Salesforce experience.
