This position is crucial for overseeing all business operations, driving operational excellence, and ensuring sustained growth within this vibrant market.

The TL;DR

• Location: In-person, St Louis, MO
• Mission: Own all aspects of business operations to ensure excellence, drive growth, and optimize profitability in the St. Louis market.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategic Growth: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives, maximize profitability, and identify new business opportunities in the local market.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and exceptional customer service, while implementing and monitoring quality control systems to maintain high standards of product and service delivery.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a diverse team, fostering a positive work environment and high performance culture, while leading change management initiatives to improve processes and drive innovation.
• Financial Stewardship: Analyze financial data, prepare budgets, and make data-driven decisions to optimize business performance.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and community partners, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role. A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is required.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence and implement process improvements. This includes a solid understanding of financial management, budgeting, and forecasting, alongside familiarity with the St. Louis market and local business landscape.
• Skills: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams, excellent strategic planning and execution capabilities, and superior problem-solving and decision-making skills. Requires a strong customer service orientation and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bonus: A Master of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred.
