• Pay: $28.00–$32.00 hourly
• Team: Reports to Maintenance Management, may lead or train junior technicians.
• Mission: To deliver high-quality homes and exemplary service to military families through general and specialized maintenance and repairs.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Maintain: Perform general and specialized maintenance, installation, and preventative upkeep on a variety of building systems and appliances including plumbing, HVAC, structural, and electrical.
• Diagnose: Test and troubleshoot various items like thermocouples, motors, boiler controls, fire alarms, and plumbing fixtures to assess functionality and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Repair: Complete all assigned resident-requested repairs, services, and maintenance work on vacant homes within required timeframes and quality standards.
• Respond: Perform on-call service requests and emergency calls, and conduct routine inspections of homes, machinery, and common areas.
• Guide: Train or guide other maintenance team members in performing skilled tasks and may occasionally supervise staff in management’s absence.
The Must-Haves
• Background: An experienced professional with an intermediate to expert understanding of basic trades, including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpet care, and appliance repair.
• Experience: Five or more years of related maintenance experience.
• Skills: Proficient in operating standard hand and power tools, equipment, and machinery; effective communication for work direction; and basic computer skills for mobile devices and PCs.
• Bonus: HVAC and EPA certifications are preferred, along with some supervisory or lead experience.
