As the Maintenance Director, you will play a critical part in ensuring the facility remains safe, compliant, and well-maintained for all residents and staff. • Pay: $60000 yearly
• Team: Supervises maintenance staff, as applicable
• Mission: Oversees maintenance and physical plant operations to ensure a safe, compliant, and well-maintained facility
What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations Oversight: Oversee all maintenance and physical plant operations to ensure the facility is safe, compliant, and well-maintained.
• Program Management: Manage daily maintenance tasks and implement preventive maintenance programs effectively.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to CMS, Life Safety Code, OSHA, and all state regulations within the facility.
• System Maintenance: Maintain critical building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, and generators.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues and provide necessary on-call coverage as required.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Director-level position requiring a high school diploma or GED, with core knowledge in building maintenance and physical plant operations within a facility setting.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of maintenance experience is required to successfully manage facility operations.
• Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of building systems, understanding of regulatory compliance, strong organizational abilities, effective problem-solving skills, and clear communication capabilities.
• Bonus: Experience specifically within healthcare or long-term care environments is preferred for this role.
