The Tone:
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract role at LGT Wealth Management, a key part of LGT Group, operating in Australia. This Project Manager position is vital for expanding the Delivery function, supporting significant strategic change and mandatory initiatives across the business. The role focuses on ensuring end-to-end project delivery, leveraging data-driven decision-making and collaboration to achieve impactful outcomes that provide clients with deep expertise for generations to come.

• Mission: Accountable for end-to-end project delivery, supporting strategic change and mandatory initiatives across the LGT Wealth Management business by facilitating idea generation, planning, and implementation of both business and technical components.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Team Facilitation: Facilitate all required team ceremonies, including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, and Retrospectives, to foster an environment for high performance, enabling the team to be more productive and effective.
• Project Planning: Develop comprehensive plans by identifying work, required resourcing, scheduling of activities, and budget planning, while also coordinating initiatives across various teams and managing inter-team dependencies and meeting cadences.
• Delivery Management: Take responsibility for managing project risk, quality, and progress, ensuring that implementation is completed on time, on budget, to specified quality standards, and within the agreed scope for both technical and non-technical components.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly communicate and update key stakeholders on project deliverables, providing timely escalation of any issues impacting project timelines or costs, and running essential project governance forums such as Steering Committees and Working Groups.
• Process Enhancement: Evaluate completed projects and identify improvements to inform future projects, contributing to the continuous evolution and refinement of the LGT Wealth Management delivery framework.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Degree qualified with over 5 years of Project Management experience within the financial services sector, preferably in wealth management. Specific experience or a keen interest in compliance, AML, and regulatory reforms is highly valued.
• Experience: Demonstrable experience in delivering complex, cross-functional projects within a dynamic environment, utilizing Agile project management methodologies. This includes managing projects focused on risk and compliance within a financial services context.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and various change methodologies. Proven capabilities in complex problem-solving, data-driven decision-making, and effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders to achieve impactful outcomes.
• Bonus: Prior experience with financial platforms, with a strong preference for Avaloq.
