The Tone:
This is a contract role at TEKsystems, located fully onsite in Temple, TX. TEKsystems is a leading provider of business and technology services, operating as partners in transformation with a team of 80,000 across North America, Europe, and Asia. This role is critical for Meta’s DEC Delivery, supporting the construction of a 1-gigawatt data center campus, ensuring end-to-end execution of mission-critical infrastructure projects. As an on-site delivery lead, this position is central to the successful and predictable outcome of a new “Lightning” product type data center.

• Team: Construction Managers report under the Area CM and Campus CM structure, serving as on-site delivery leads.
• Mission: Serve as the single point of contact for cross-functional partners, providing oversight and accountability across safety, quality, schedule, and financial management for data center construction.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Execution Lead: Lead day-to-day construction execution with General Contractors (GCs) and trade partners, driving site logistics, access/egress planning, and coordination meetings.
• Safety Oversight: Own and enforce site safety plans and execution culture, partnering closely with stakeholders to maintain Meta safety standards.
• Project Predictability: Drive predictability across quality, schedule, and cost, including project tracking, issue/risk management, and regular reporting to internal stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Coordinate and align with local cross-functional partners and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ) as needed.
• Preconstruction Support: Support preconstruction activities including design coordination, budgeting, scheduling/planning, and GMP development as applicable to the project.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level experience in construction management, ideally within large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure projects.
• Experience: Foundational experience in construction project execution, particularly in complex environments involving multiple General Contractors (Site GC, Core & Shell GC, Integrator GC).
• Skills: Construction, Project Management, MEP General Contractor
• Bonus: Potential for overtime later in the year.
