Associate IT Business Analyst, Retail | Trulieve

The Tone:
This is an entry-level, full-time role at Trulieve, located remotely. • Team: Retail Technology (Enterprise Applications) team, reports to Senior Manager, Retail Technology.
• Mission: This person will support the analysis, documentation, and delivery of retail technology initiatives across enterprise point-of-sale (POS) and SAP-based OMS platforms to ensure seamless retail operations.
• Tech Stack: SAP (OMS & ABAP backend), SAP BTP Integration Suite / CPI, ADO, Excel, Word.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Business Analysis: Support the Retail Analyst team by gathering and documenting business needs for retail technology platforms.
• Documentation: Assist in drafting Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional documentation, and structured artifacts like process flows and system diagrams.
• Ticket Management: Take ownership of ADO work items, writing clear tickets and collaborating with developers through the full development lifecycle from intake to release.
• Testing & Release: Execute user acceptance testing (UAT), documenting defects and confirming outcomes for system enhancements and fixes prior to go-live.
• Issue Support: Gather detailed information on escalated issues, reproduce problems, and organize findings to support root cause analysis and resolution.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Technology, or a related field; this is an entry-level role.
• Experience: 0-1 years of experience; internships, coursework, or project work in business/systems analysis or retail technology is a plus.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, analytical mindset, attention to detail, organizational skills, comfort with everyday tools such as Excel and Word.
• Bonus: Exposure to enterprise systems like SAP, familiarity with integration concepts (APIs), exposure to POS systems or retail operations, or coursework in documentation or process mapping.
