This is a full-time, hybrid role at Birdy Grey, located in the Los Angeles metropolitan area, requiring 3-4 days a week in the DTLA office. Birdy Grey is a direct-to-consumer brand, founded in 2017, dedicated to celebrating friendships during weddings by offering affordable bridesmaid dresses, groomsmen suits, and accessories. As a product-obsessed company, Birdy Grey seeks a detail-oriented self-starter for this entry-level Product Coordinator position. This role is vital for supporting the product creation team by organizing the daily administration of product development, offering a significant first step into apparel product development for someone eager to learn and grow within the team.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Track Submissions: Systematically monitor and log all incoming lab dips and strike-offs from vendors, ensuring they are accurately recorded against approved color standards.
• Manage Color Status: Efficiently organize and label physical color swatches and submissions for team review, actively maintaining a running tracker of color approval status by style and fabric in the product data system (Airtable Product Master).
• Support Design Reviews: Proactively prepare and organize all necessary reference materials, trims, and comp samples in advance of design reviews.
• Document Meetings: Capture comprehensive and detailed notes during all fit sessions and critical cross-functional product development meetings.
• Maintain Records: Keep all style and product records, shared trackers, and linesheets meticulously updated as details are finalized and approvals are granted.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree. An entry-level role with a genuine interest in color, fabric, and apparel design.
• Experience: 1-3 years in production, color, design, or product development.
• Skills: Impeccable organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, demonstrating reliability in juggling multiple small tasks. Proficiency with spreadsheets and an eagerness to learn new tools, including active excitement and ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini, Copilot) for work acceleration and identifying automation opportunities. Strong analytical skills to perform data deep dives and surface actionable insights. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, coupled with a proactive problem-solving approach to troubleshoot and escalate issues effectively. A hard-working, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude, combined with an entrepreneurial spirit that thrives in fluid environments and takes initiative on projects.
