The role offers a clear mentorship path designed to develop a raw graduate into a fully autonomous, specialized consultant within 18 months.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Carbon Accounting & Reporting: Assist in compiling and verifying Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventories using enterprise sustainability software.
• Built Environment Strategy: Coordinate with engineering and architecture teams to analyze building-scale data, helping developments hit targeted certifications (LEED, WELL, or local energy compliance codes).
• Data Analytics & Modeling: Build and maintain data models tracking client resource usage, focusing on water stewardship, waste diversion, and energy efficiency.
• ESG Materiality: Perform market research and peer benchmarking to help corporate clients identify and prioritize their long-term Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) risks.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level professional with a recently completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainable Infrastructure, Engineering, Economics, or a related data-driven discipline.
• Experience: Comfortable managing spreadsheets and large data sets, with the ability to spot trends in raw numbers.
• Skills: Ability to translate dense, technical scientific metrics into clear, actionable business insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Bonus: A baseline interest in California climate policies (e.g., Title 24, building decarbonization mandates).
