What You’ll Actually Do
• File Management: Organize files and move them forward efficiently.
• Scheduling: Docket and schedule events for legal proceedings.
• Document Drafting: Draft probate pleadings and estate planning documents, including Wills, Trusts, Deeds, and Durable Power of Attorney.
• Client Communication: Communicate updates to clients, gather necessary information, and help attorneys prepare for signing meetings.
• Case Management: Participate in weekly case management meetings and log updates to case files.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum a high school diploma; strong preference for a paralegal professional certification or advanced paralegal education. The role requires experience as a Florida Paralegal/Legal Assistant, specifically in Estate Planning.
• Experience: 2+ years required as a Florida Estate Planning paralegal; 2+ years preferred as a Florida Probate paralegal. Required experience with document building software, specifically WealthCounsel and/or Westlaw Form Builder, or similar software. Preferred experience with Clio Manage or similar practice management software.
• Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, great time-management skills, organizational skills, solid computer skills, and a typing speed of 70-100 WPM. Required ability to speak Spanish.
• Bonus: Advanced training at a college or university. Experience with using Google Mail, Google Drive, and Google Calendar.
